QR code generator: Wi-Fi, vCard, URL

A QR code that contains its own content: no redirect, no tracking, no expiry.

Higher correction survives damage and smudges, but makes the code denser.

Guides for this tool

Static, not dynamic

Many QR services make “dynamic” codes that point to their own server, then redirect. They can count scans, change the destination, and stop working when the subscription ends. The codes made here contain their content directly: they work for as long as the content is valid, and nobody sees who scans them.

A static code contains the address itself. A dynamic code sends every scan through someone else’s server first.

Seven kinds of content

  • Website: opens the address.
  • Wi-Fi: joins the network without typing the password.
  • Contact card: adds a contact (vCard).
  • Email, phone, SMS: prepares a message or a call.
  • Text: shows the text.

PNG or SVG

PNG for screens and documents; SVG for print, because it stays sharp at any size.

Privacy

Codes are generated in your browser. What you type — including a Wi-Fi password — is never sent anywhere.

Keep what is yours, yours.
