Three modes
- Natural: a gentle overall correction, calculated from how dark the photo is.
- Shadow lift: brightens dark areas while leaving bright ones nearly untouched.
- Backlit: for a subject in front of a bright background, lifts the subject strongly without burning the background.
Colours stay true
The correction is applied to brightness, then used to scale red, green and blue together. Brightening each colour separately turns shadows grey or blue; this keeps skin tones and colours as they were.
Privacy
The photo is processed in your browser and never uploaded. The new file contains no metadata.
