Image cropper

Keep only the part of the picture you want, to the exact pixel.

How to crop

  1. Choose an image.
  2. Drag the frame to move it, or its corners to resize it — or type exact values in pixels.
  3. Pick a ratio if the image must fit a format: 1:1 for a profile picture, 4:5 for a portrait post, 16:9 for a cover.

Common ratios: 1:1 for profile pictures, 4:5 and 3:4 for feeds and prints, 16:9 for screens, 9:16 for stories.

Cropping out private details

Cropping is the simplest way to remove what should not be seen: a reflection, a street sign, a document on a desk. Unlike hiding something with an emoji, a cropped area is gone from the file.

Privacy

The image is cropped in your browser and never uploaded. The new file contains no metadata.
